- Going into Public Sector Units (PSUs)
Another option after clearing GATE for a CS student is going into PSUs. Although other branches have upper hand here than CS students, but if selected in one of the PSUs they can get high salaries which one could only dream of.
PSUs like GAIL, PGCIL, ONGC, IOCL, NLC, NTPC, ISRO, SAIL, VIZAG, BEL, BSNL, BARC and AAI hires through GATE scores followed by Group Discussions and Personal Interview.
- Reasearch opportunities
After completing your two years master’s programm you can also opt for research field. This is one of the areas explored very little by students. After few years of hardships, you will ultimately settled getting financially satisfied jobs.
- Studying in top universities in abroad
yes!! you can get admission in few of top universities of the world where GATE scores are valid. For instance National University of Singapore gives admission to candidates having GATE percentile more than 90. Moreover, you can pursue MS in US after graduation, though you have to appear and qualify for Graduate Records Examination (GRE) which will ultimately lead you to high paying jobs.
